Metal Stapling Machine

S2F8 Metal Stapling Machine

Why Metal Stapling?

No other fastening method offers all the benefits of metal stapling
(sometimes called metal joining);
low material cost, low production cost, secure and permanent joints.
Where applicable, wire metal stapling is superior to
conventional welding, riveting, threaded fastening and gluing methods.
It saves on material costs, eliminates the need for
pre-cleaning, pre-drilling and hole line-ups.
Added to its low cost and simplicity,
wire metal stapling is a high strength metal fastening method.
It joins both similar and dissimilar materials without problems

What's Materials?

  • Any material that can be penetrated without fracturing:

  • Metal to metal (metal joining)

  • Metal to non-metal

  • Non-metal to non-metal

Although metal stapling is frequently used to join metal to metal (ie, metal joining), its widest application is to fasten non-metallic material to metal. The table below includes a sampling of the most commonly stapled materials with the recommended maximum work thicknesses. (In certain cases, these maximums can be exceeded and in others they cannot be reached.) Material hardness, grain structure, wire size and tensile, machine size and condition, and shape of application may change this data. Because of these variables, we will test samples of your product in our laboratory to determine the correct stapler and wire for your particular needs.

Stapling Advantages

Metallic materials (similar and dissimilar) not readily welded are easily stitched.

No time-consuming preparation, such as pre-punching, drilling, tapping, critical hole alignment for riveting, or cleaning of work (before and after) as with welding.

Low cost per staple. Material cost is just 6C to 600 per thousand, depending on application, type of wire and staple size.

Speeds up to 300 staples per minute are possible.

High resistance to joint fatigue and vibration. The tight joint, produced by wire making its own hole, and effective clinching action, restricts movement of parts joined. Staple leg penetration provides added joint strength.

Only visual inspection is required to determine proper fastening.

Stapling does not disturb most finishes.

Wire Stapling Machines

A model for every purpose, features which assure perfect stapling and superior machine performance are found in every stapler.

  • All parts are manufactured to rigid specifications for smoothest possible operation, long life and perfect interchangeability.

  • Many operating parts can be reversed to double service life.

  • Quiet operation.

  • Low maintenance.

  • Models are offered for virtually every purpose: for floor or bench mounting, for integration into other basic production line machinery, and for specially-engineered equipment.
